Electrical Engineering Department was established in the year 1999 and since then 19 batches have
been passed out. Our graduates emerge with the knowledge and skills needed for high quality
technical tasks and advanced engineering research. We equip our graduates with a broad intellectual
spectrum in order to prepare them for diversified career paths. Electrical Engineers, we produce
here are all well placed . We are proud to say that our Electrical graduates are scattered around
the world and are associated with top multinational companies. They are working in countries of all
continents of the world- US, UAE, Bahrain, Singapore, Ireland, UK etc. are few names.
As for this branch of engineering is concerned, it is the study and application of electrical
systems for use in different environments. This field first became an identifiable occupation in the
latter half of the 19th century after commercialization of the electric telegraph. As an academic
subject it involves the study about transmission and generation of electrical power, electrical
circuit design, instrumentation and control systems, electrical machines and its design . In depth,
knowledge of electronic devices and artificial intelligence is also required. The application of
computer-based systems in design, analysis and operation of power systems is also taught.
To prepare the students to meet the demands of Industries and research in this fast growing technological world and to mould them into successful professionals in the field of Electrical Engineering.
