Apply the knowledge of basic sciences and fundamental engineering concepts in solving engineering problems.
Identify and define engineering problems, conduct experiments and investigate to analyze and interpret data to arrive at substantial conclusions.
Propose an appropriate solution for engineering problems complying with functional constraints such as economic, environmental, societal, ethical, safety and sustainability.
Perform investigations, design and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret the results to provide valid conclusions.
Select/develop and apply appropriate techniques and IT tools for the design & analysis of the systems.
Give reasoning and assess societal, health, legal and cultural issues with competency in professional engineering practice.
Demonstrate professional skills and contextual reasoning to assess environmental/societal issues for sustainable development.

Mechanical Engineering graduates have breadth and depth of theoretical & practical knowledge necessary to work effectively as a Mechanical Engineer in an industrial environment.

The application of fundamental Mechanical Engineering achieve excellence in product design, thermal engineering and manufacturing system by acquiring knowledge in thermal, theory of machine, material science and designing principles.
Develop skill, competence and technical knowledge to identify and solve problems of Mechanical Engineering in the Industries & social needs.
Apply the concept to use knowledge of Mechanism Layout, Force Analysis and design calculations to develop complex Engineering systems.
The Mechanical Engineering Graduates will be able to function in software industry in the areas of Design and development of software tools such as AUTO CAD, Solid works, Ansys etc.
